Raised Taxes

A thought just occurred to me while watching the news…we shoot down proposals to raise taxes in an instant..but if some are used to increase funds for schooling/health care reform/and the other necessities, why not be a part of a state/country that helps each generation prepare for their future and help ourselves to reach our own goals?

Just a small realization how small and simple we think when we hear of “raising taxes”. 

I know that most people decline raising taxes because they themselves don’t have money to constantly give to taxes. But for most of us in the middle-class, if we cut off on spending on things that we don’t REALLY need, we’ll find that we actually have a lot more money to spend on other important things. Idk, I guess what I’m saying is that people should put more thought into why some taxes are suggested in being raised…because I’m sick of all these tuition raises and classes being cut…and if raising taxes helps these issues and I knew exactly what the bill was proposing, I would definitely be behind it.

“If it was meant to be, it will be”

I know this saying is usually for relationships but I don’t really believe this…I believe that if you want it to happen, make it happen. And if it wasn’t meant to be, well, if you stand behind it strong enough, make it happen until it is clear that it will not happen.
